Thanks! I see canon Dean as afraid of what Castiel's going to do if Sam doesn't stop, plus the whole consorting with demons and how that never ends well factor. If Sam just had control of the powers separate from all that, I don't think Dean would have as big of a problem, though he'd still be wary of demonic origin.
