God, that was so perfect. The parallels between canon and this 'verse were really fascinating. I haven't read a lot of AUs were Sam and Dean weren't raised together that follow the general canon storyline, and I have to say that I really did like it. You managed to keep them Sam and Dean, just with a few more layers. (Also, I can't even begin to express how happy I am that you didn't go for a tragic ending. I was really worried after chapter eight.)
